RIB Pioneer is a Nature boat tour company which was established by a group of passionate friends who were fascinated by the beautiful nature in Lake Towada.
Our mission is to protect the irreplaceable and precious nature and to pass this heritage down to the next generations.

About RIB Pioneer’s military boat
RIB boat is very stable and strong and was officially used by the special forces in England. The imported RIB boats from England are equipped with a Japanese environmentally friendly clean engine.
RIB stands for “Rigid-hulled inflatable boat”, which is unsinkable structure (boat for keeping always floating even if a hole is made)

Conquer Lake Towada completely!
We will cruise for over 21km! Jungle cruise in the depths of Lake Towada with using the safety and speed of a military boat! We will show you some great landscapes which you have hardly ever seen! This boat tour cruises around the untouched areas of land in Lake Towada. It is near the Fortune-telling area “Uranaiba” which is known as the most spiritual place, and Ki-iwa rock which is said to be the image of Nansonobo who had austere training in Kumano, and became Lake Towada’s guardian. And we also cruise Omuro which is a mysterious cave, Tsurugi-iwa rock (it looks like a sword), Eboshi-iwa rock (it looks like the headgear worn by noblemen in court attire) and Byobu-iwa rock (it looks like a folding screen), which are certified as scenic spots in Lake Towada. ●Tour time : 60 minutes

◆ Wild Animals cruise

It is your big chance to encounter wild animals in the early morning! Looking for wild animals while the boat cruises quietly and slowly along the forest. Each early morning there is a high probability to encounter wild animals.
This tour is cruises more slowly than the daytime cruise tour, so as not to overlook any wild animals in the awakening forest. This tour will also use RIB boat which is a military boat and it is possible for it to cruise in the shallow waters of the lake. Let’s go looking for wild animals from the boat! ●Tour time : 75 minutes
Please complete pre-boarding procedures at the reception at least 15 minutes prior to departure. ●Limited to 10 people per day

This short cruise is highly recommended for people who will not have enough time to participate to a RIB long cruise.
15 minutes cruising? Please rest assured! RIB boat’s maximum speed is 100 km/h! We will show you to the deepest point in the middle of lake! And we will cruise the protected areas in Lake Towada, so you can experience the mystery! ●Tour time : 15 minutes ( every 30 minutes )
